Barbara Walkovich, CEO
Barbara R. Walkovich, registered occupational therapist, partner and Chief Executive Officer, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. As contract service liaison, she coordinates Camco’s physical and occupational therapy services and provides administrative and clinical direction to the staff. Barbara has provided occupational therapy services in a variety of settings including acute care, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, out- patient centers, home health, early intervention programs and public schools since 1983. She has specialized in the rehabilitation of injured workers and on-site industrial evaluations, school-based therapy and home health for numerous agencies. In addition to continuing education in management and team building, Barbara has successfully completed numerous training programs in pediatrics, home health and work injury evaluation and rehabilitation. Barbara is an active member of both the American Occupational Therapy Association and the PA Occupational Therapy Association. She was a state occupational therapy conference presenter in 1989, 1990, 1996 and 1998. Barbara was the chairperson for POTA Home Health Special Interest Section 9/90-9/93. She is currently a Conemaugh Home Health Advisory Board member and a member of the Greater Johnstown Chamber of Commerce.
