Christa Stipanovich, DPT
Christa Marie Conway Stipanovich, physical therapist, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Temple University, as well as, Master and Bachelor Degrees in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Christa completed affiliations in the areas of acute care, orthopedic rehab, home health, and pediatrics during her time at Jefferson. Her pediatric affiliation was completed at the Alfred I DuPont Institute in 2001. Prior to attending Thomas Jefferson University, Christa completed her Bachelor Degree from Slippery Rock University in Exercise Science, as well a Minor in Gerontology. While attending Slippery Rock University, Christa studied “Cross Cultural Issues in International Health” in Italy during the summer of 1996. Christa has participated in various continuing education courses including Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Autism and Pervasive Developmental Delay: Intervention Strategies, Conversational Sign Language, Childhood Developmental Disorders, Sensory Integration Disorders: Strategies for the Classroom, Pediatric Rehab from A to Z, Functional Assessments and Exercise Programming, Osteoporosis: A Comprehensive Treatment Strategy, Bone and Joint Disease, Balance Interventions, Getting the PIQ-ture: Assessing and Treating Common Pediatric Patients, NDT Facilitation Techniques: A Lab Course, and Very Best Treatment for ADHD and the Processing Disorders. Christa continues to attend various continuing education courses to enhance her practice and ultimately assist her patients to achieve the most functional outcomes possible. Christa has also achieved a Moms in Motion Specialty Certificate from SCW Fitness Education Specialists, and is a credentialed clinical instructor through the America Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Christa provides pediatric/school-based, early intervention, and home health skilled physical therapy services throughout Cambria County.
