Karen Leppert, PT

Karen Leppert, physical therapist, holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Temple University. She attained a Master of Physical Therapy Degree from St. Francis College in 2000. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis College in 1998. Karen has practiced physical therapy in acute care, out patient, home health, early intervention and public schools throughout Cambria, Bedford, Clearfield, Indiana and Blair Counties since August 2000. Karen has attended numerous continuing education courses to enhance her clinical skills in neurological rehabilitation and pediatrics. In July 2005 she attended the III Step Conference: Linking Movement Science and Intervention in Salt Lake City UT. This conference brought together leading researchers in the areas of basic science, movement science, motor learning and motor control along with educators and clinicians in order to foster an evolution in physical therapy education and practice. She has been a teaching assistant and a guest speaker at St. Francis University in the Physical Therapy Program. Karen is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the PA Physical Therapy Association, currently holding the position of secretary for the West Central District.
